Use the released Ed Swift 1.1.0 package
The visionOS app now takes Ed from ed-swift's 1.1.0 release instead of a sibling onde-ed-swift checkout. The README explains how to point it back at a local checkout for unreleased changes. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

+### Developing against a local Ed Swift checkout
26
27
-Until Ed Swift 1.1.0 is released, `project.yml` takes the `Ed` package by path from a sibling `onde-ed-swift` checkout (`../../onde-ed-swift`), the way `src-tauri/Cargo.toml` patches `ed-agent` to a sibling `onde-ed`. After the release, switch it to the published package:
27
+`project.yml` pulls `Ed` from the published [ed-swift](https://github.com/ondeinference/ed-swift) releases (`from: 1.1.0`), the same way `src-tauri/Cargo.toml` pins `ed-agent` from crates.io. To try an unreleased change, point the package at a sibling `onde-ed-swift` checkout instead:
28
29
```yaml
30
packages:
31
Ed:
32
- url: https://github.com/ondeinference/ed-swift
33
- from: 1.1.0
32
+ path: ../../onde-ed-swift
33
```
34
36
-To build the visionOS slice of the local checkout, run this in `onde-ed-swift`:
37
-
38
-```
39
-make visionos
40
-```
41
-
42
-`make visionos` needs the sibling `onde-ed` Rust workspace (`ED_REPO` defaults to `../onde-ed`) and a nightly Rust toolchain with `-Z build-std`, since visionOS is a tier-3 target.
35
+Then build the visionOS slice in that checkout with `make visionos`. It needs the sibling `onde-ed` Rust workspace (`ED_REPO` defaults to `../onde-ed`) and a nightly Rust toolchain with `-Z build-std`, since visionOS is a tier-3 target.
