Contributor License Agreement

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Siti AI ("the Project"), maintained by PT Sigit Mitra Bangun ("we", "us").

This Contributor License Agreement ("Agreement") clarifies the intellectual property license granted with Contributions from any person or entity. By submitting a Contribution to the Project (for example, via a pull request), You accept and agree to the following terms for Your present and future Contributions.

This Agreement is adapted from the widely used Apache Software Foundation Individual Contributor License Agreement and is intended to be simple and fair.

1. Definitions

  • "You" / "Your" means the individual or legal entity making a Contribution.
  • "Contribution" means any original work of authorship, including any modifications or additions to existing work, that You intentionally submit to the Project for inclusion in, or documentation of, the Project.
  • "Submit" means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent to the Project, including but not limited to pull requests, issues, and comments, excluding communication conspicuously marked "Not a Contribution."

You grant to PT Sigit Mitra Bangun and to recipients of software distributed by the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute Your Contributions and such derivative works.

This license includes the right for PT Sigit Mitra Bangun to license the Contribution, including under the Project's open-source license (Apache-2.0) and under separate commercial terms. You retain all right, title, and interest in Your Contributions; this Agreement is a license, not an assignment.

3. Patent license

You grant to PT Sigit Mitra Bangun and to recipients of the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer Your Contribution, where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable by You that are necessarily infringed by Your Contribution alone or by combination of Your Contribution with the Project.

4. Your representations

You represent that:

  • You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses.
  • Each of Your Contributions is Your original creation, or You have the rights to submit it.
  • If Your employer has rights to intellectual property You create, You have received permission to make Contributions on behalf of that employer, or Your employer has waived such rights for Your Contributions.
  • Your Contributions do not, to Your knowledge, violate any third party's copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.

5. Third-party material

If You submit work that is not Your original creation, You will identify it and its source and any license or restriction You are aware of, and clearly mark it (for example, "Submitted on behalf of a third party: [name]").

6. No warranty

Contributions are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. You are not expected to provide support for Your Contributions, except to the extent You desire to.

How to sign: the CLA-assistant bot will prompt you on your first pull request; signing is a one-time action recorded against your GitHub account. Corporate contributors may contact support@getsiti.5mb.app to arrange an entity-level agreement.
