v1.7.13

Sign in from the siGit apps with GitHub and GitLab

v1.7.13 lets the siGit apps sign in with GitHub and GitLab, and tidies a few things around the agent and code review.

Sign in from the apps with GitHub and GitLab

The siGit desktop and mobile apps now sign in through sigit.si with your GitHub or GitLab account. The desktop app receives the result on a local address on your own machine. The mobile apps receive it through an app link on sigit.si, so the sign-in finishes in the app rather than in the browser.

To support app links, sigit.si now serves /.well-known/apple-app-site-association and /.well-known/assetlinks.json. If the phone does not hand the link to the app, a short page explains what to do next.

Labels on the agent's issues and pull requests

When siGit Code Cloud Agent opens a pull request or works on an issue, it now adds a "siGit Code Cloud Agent" label to both. The label is created in the repository the first time it is needed. If the repository does not allow it, the run carries on without the label.

Code review tells you when it fails

When a code review fails and will not be retried, the pull request now gets a short comment saying so, with a link to the dashboard and a mention of the person who asked for the review. The comment gives a general reason, such as the model service being unavailable, and nothing more detailed. Mention the reviewer again to retry.

Smaller changes

  • The elapsed time on a live agent run is now shown as m:ss (for example 1:05) and no longer jumps between words and a clock on each refresh.
  • The user menu groups repositories, organizations, siGit Code and account links with thin separators. The mobile menu now matches the desktop one and includes the organization links it was missing.
